WHO: Falcon P & O offers drone services such as demos, photography, video, post-production and inspection services. FAA Certified Remote Pilot Operator has experience with electromechanical engineering, agile project management, production analysis, research, documentation, graphic arts, environmental service project management, programming, electrical assembly and testing, and other disciplines.
WHY: The goal of Falcon P & O is to design, build, and fly drones, and become a medical drone delivery service with a five-year plan to reach a national market. It’s a one-person show, but needs to grow. Qualified for federal grants through SAM. It started as a hobby, but I developed my research into a thesis, work design and financial plan.
HOW: I sell paintings to fund drone research. I am doing everything I can to raise money for a prototype. Once I get a prototype, I can demo the service and get grants. It’s that simple.
OPPORTUNITY: The business is designed to begin with three active partners, and I am actively seeking two collaborators with experience in programming, biomedical device engineering, unmanned aerial systems, and/or mechanical engineering.
LOCATION: Current community work includes research into experimental aircraft through an Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) chapter outside of Pittsburgh, PA, and exploration of historical sites and attractions in SW Pennsylvania through Senator John Heinz History Center as an volunteer Liaison working through SWPENNA.com and local museums and community collections, and regional tourism.. I will spend 2019 involved in helping to raise awareness of affiliates of Heinz History Center. This gives me a chance to survey large amounts of Western Pennsylvania with a drone. My ultimate base of operations is a proposed 1,686 sq. mile are bounded roughly by Pittsburgh, the westernmost ridges of the Allegheney Mountains due East, and Uniontown, PA to the south.
Please support your local drone pilots and safe flying practices.
