LOCAL: I flew briefly after a city council meeting. Weather has been cold or warming and blustery. I pitched drone services as a community-based utility model at a local city council meeting, shared cards, shook hands. I am developing a training program. I will try to share the link to a model I am using.
NEWS: Everything is getting too expensive.
DRONE: I flew a local bridge. Well…the space where it was a month ago. I made a three-minute video of its disassembly. The timespan is an actual year. I used a non-linear edit to play on the post-modern idea of deconstruction of forms.
SCIENCE: I am reading about data analysis of whale communication. I am studying a piece that models machine learning data. Not saying talking about drones all the time is boring. Never.
It is impossible to edit this entry on my phone. Blah blah something Pareto Effect something law of least effort.
ART: I finished a 20″x16″ oil on canvas, “Brownsville Light Up Night 2015”. Including drying time between sessions, a week to finish. Planning my next painting. Vintage cat portraiture, yes.
