LOCAL: I was able to secure a mural location for the Arts Council, so that is a go. We get a chance to work on a mural together. We have a large 4:3 two-story cinderblock wall to present the viewing public with a slice of Brownsville history. We are in planning phase. This is a great opportunity for Brownsville and passersby. It faces the National Road in the North Market Street Historical District. This mural may happen due to vibes; it may not happen due to vibes. C’est la village.
I have three, THREE, murals going up on Market Street. Kids riding the cheese in the morning to school will get to see a bit o’ the brushwork on an otherwise bland brown brick wall.
I started working on the Conestoga Wagon Train painting Sunday night. The sketch took a bit. Leaves are turning early due to an uncomfortably dry summer. I will be out and about with my drone.
I have a portraiture session this weekend and next weekend. I only received three or four drone job scam calls this year. Business is bad. “I only pay by check”. Sad. In reply, I type “Have a Good Day” with my middle finger.
I added some paintings to the gallery page. I changed the color of the website to sea foam.
