2–3 minutes

LOCAL: Had a busy week looking at houses. I am in dire straits. Rain is coming in through the roof. It ruined a painting two weeks ago. Sewage and grey water backed into the basement for two weeks. We were all getting migraines and my Rae Rae was in bed with flu-like symptoms. The sewer gasses were the worst part. Migraines. All of us. We looked at a couple of houses. One: unaffordable, the other in gross disrepair – I nearly pushed over a porch wall disconnected from its ceiling and roof.
I cannot afford anything, especially stupid garbage like that. I work full-time and my biweekly paycheck is gone in usually 48 hours. I have a BA and a BS. Where are the manufacturing jobs? I should be working to improve the quality of life for living things. Instead, I paint oils. I’m a fool, and I love it!

I am looking for a third job. Hi, ladies. Indeed, I am the faint dusty voice of a billion lost civilizations crying out for a trip to the beach, maybe a Lambo. I hear them valiantly crying out in their search for wild Lambos in the cosmos and whatnot.

I was here to witness the inflection of GPS, cheap electronics, distributive forms of computing, and social media/surveillance. Now I just stand in sewage and paint cats in this New World.

Yes, data just went there. New AI toilet camera scans waste for hydration and gut insights. Careful where you launch that thing!

– Brooch known as the reliquary brooch

– Tiara of Empress Eugénie

– Large bodice knot (brooch) of Empress Eugénie

The crown of Empress Eugenie was found outside the museum. The thieves apparently dropped the piece, made of gold, emerald and diamonds, as they made their getaway.

I repainted the recently water-damaged painting. I varnished a half dozen painting in waiting early.
