LOCAL: Broke and loving life. Opening all posts to discussion moving forward. I worry my son will go to war to keep the corrupt in power. Discuss. Blood on our hands is hard to wash away when the enemy drinks so deeply from the springs of fruit punch Kool-Aid. I stew; I worry about what our descendants will think of us.

DRONE: I received a refund from HoverAir for the unshippable AQUA model in my pink little grubby hands. Thanks, FCC. I borrowed for the drone, so I just settled the debt. I ate the cost for an extra controller/beacon set I bought in anticipation of a run on accessories after the December release. The tech sits useless on my desk. Drones are killing a civilian every half hour or so in the Middle East. By the time I get home from work there will be about 17 more dead civilians, and their blood is on my hands, too. Not Kool-Aid. The grief over the preventable, completely avoidable loss of innocent life is living rent-free in my head.

SCIENCE: Losing interest in technology always falling in the hands of greedy weirdos. Amazon just hung up its Prime drone spurs. Stupid idea. “Last-mile delivery”. Couldn’t figure that out how to make that work. Losers. Our media is being scooped up by pedo protectors and grifters. I can only assume there must be something even worse around which some rather fugly wagons are circling, something that trivializes that what we have been reading. Like, crazy bad.

I understand arxiv.org is getting a CEO, and I am going to go throw up. In November they got a grant to migrate to the cloud, and now a CEO is going to steer the beast. arXiv’s Major Change: To Become Independent from Cornell University and Recruit a CEO – Netizens Wonder if Free Use Will Continue. Well, the answer is no at best. If it’s a yes, it will be for, well, millions papes of poorly stacked graphene test results and whatnot.

The Iran War is being waged to distract from the Epstein Files. I am witnessing a darkest period in human history. Power corrupts. A civilian dies every twenty-five minutes or so for this madness. It’s breathtaking to think this is probably going to be the best part of 2026 in terms of the global energy crisis. This world has gone mad.
