1–2 minutes

LOCAL: Fall festivals come charging out of the woodwork. The mild and the wild can be found in odd little festivals. I am vending some old paintings for kicks. Dollar paintings. Some of them are ten years old. I have five minutes to write this post.

SCIENCE: Religious tolerance will not protect you from measles. Pennsylvania measles outbreak is the largest in more than three decades in the US | AP News. Plague in Siberia, ebola in west Africa. We need a cage match.

Nobel Prize dive next week

Drone: I flew the Festival of Combustion at the fireworks finale.

Art: I started a painting of hibiscus. I am selling old paintings for $1.00 each at a community art festival. Hopefully a few dozen.
